Skullcandy, a well-known manufacturer of audio accessories, has expanded its product portfolio in India. The company has launched Method wireless Bluetooth in-ear headphones. Priced at Rs 5,299, the in-ear headphones are available across all leading stores in the country.

The new Method Wireless ear buds come with a flexible and lightweight FlexSport collar. They have 'DualLock' technology for added stability and a comfortable noise-isolating fit for longer workouts. Skullcandy has also incorporated its 'Pureclean' technology in the headphones, which helps in keeping the ear buds clean.

The Method wireless in-ear headphones have a claimed battery life of about 8 hours and come with a built-in microphone and button to control volume and handle calls.

Speaking about the device, Amlan Bhattacharjya, founder and CEO of Brandeyes Distributors Pvt. Ltd, said, "Our research shows that while the benefits of wireless are most obvious in the application of sport, many consumers still use their day-today earbuds. They report insufficient fit and durability, and as a result, are missing the potential for a better workout experience. Because music can fuel better performance and satisfaction, there's a consumer need for stable, durable and comfortable wireless sport earbuds. Method Wireless delivers on these expectations."

Earlier this year, Skullcandy launched its Grind Wireless on-ear Bluetooth headphones in India. Bearing a price tag of Rs 6,999, the Grind Wireless headphones have premium plush ear cushions and a lightweight, durable metal headband for maximized comfort. They are claimed to have a battery life of about 12 hours on a single charge. The right ear cup has a built-in microphone, as well as call, track and volume control buttons.

The Grind Wireless headphones incorporate an integrated ampliļ¬er which helps in providing higher power rating and lesser distortion, with high-end drivers enabling a greater dynamic range.
